In the coming years Najae was allowed to file paperwork for Joel’s office where he took the initiative to read what he was being asked to file. Najae began to ask questions and Joel realized that he could educate and use him in a diminutive capacity around the office aside from filling. From there, Najae began reading doctors’ reports, looking for anything from Prima Facia Medical Evidence in a treating physicians report to inaccuracies in a independent medical exam report.
Joel began to trust Najae with these small task and in turn promoted him to doing office work full time. This is where Najae honed his skills as a paralegal, learning from all aspects of the job that he had done prior. From there on, he worked tirelessly and vigorously to learn everything possible about the workers comp, to ensure that he would be prepared to answer any question that an existing client or a potential client may ask.
In 2017, Najae was promoted again to Senior Paralegal, where he would do intakes, draft the necessary documents, and overseeing his colleagues’ cases to make sure they were moving according to plan. Najae’s love for workers comp and law in its totality is ingrained deeply and he is happy with the career path that he choose.
